The Buffalo Jr. Sabres are beginning to fill their roster for the upcoming 2019-20 Ontario Junior Hockey League season. Recently, defenseman Michael Craig impressed the Jr. Sabres’ coaching and scouting staff at a team camp, and he’s now been signed for the upcoming year.
Craig is a native of nearby St. Catharines and joins the Jr. Sabres after a successful rookie season with the Thorold Blackhawks.
The 16-year-old accrued 22 points, including 21 assists, in 48 games with Thorold last season in the GOJHL.
He previously played for the Niagara North Stars organization.
