Calgary, AB – The Ontario Junior Hockey League’s West Division is well-represented in the first Top 20 Ranking of the season released by the Canadian Junior Hockey League this week.
The Buffalo Jr. Sabres, who peaked at #7 in last season’s rankings just before the Christmas holiday, are among the team’s receiving an “Honourable Mention” in this week’s rankings. So, too, are the Milton IceHawks. The Hamilton Red Wings, who are highly expected to improve upon last season’s disappointing finish, are within the Top 20 at #13.
The top OJHL team within the Top 20 is the Trenton Golden Hawks, Buffalo’s opponent on Wednesday night, who rank at #5.
