Buffalo Jr. Sabres rookie forward Matteo Costantini was named the North West Player of the Month for the Ontario Junior Hockey League. In the month of December 2019, Costantini notched 17 points. He leads the team – and league – in goals, notching his 30th goal of the season on January 15 against the Milton Menace.
In addition to the league honors, Constantini also appeared in the CJHL Prospects Game in Hamilton, Ontario on January 14. Although Team East lost in the end, Costantini recorded a goal.
