DECEMBER IN REVIEW

December 2019 was a phenomenal month for the Buffalo Jr. Sabres, who won seven of nine games and lost just once. (The other game was a tie.) The month saw Buffalo beat Wellington, Milton, Georgetown, Markham, Aurora, Mississauga and Brampton.

Matteo Costantini led the way with 17 points in the month of December, including 13 goals. Captain Alec Cicero had 13 points, including eight goals, and Nate Berke notched 16 assists. Other key players include Tyler McNeil, who recorded three goals and seven assists, and Colby Seitz, who had four goals and nine assists.

All 21 Jr. Sabres skaters recorded at least a point in the month of December.

The Jr. Sabres also benefited from strong goaltending. Luke Pavicich went 4-0, stopping 113 of the 128 shots he faced. Andrew Doran recorded a win in his lone appearance, while Chase Clark went 2-1-1 over the course of the month.
