Former Buffalo Junior Sabres player Phillip Lane has signed an entry contract with the National Hockey League’s Phoenix Coyotes, the team that drafted him in 2010.
Lane skated with the Junior Sabres during the 2008-09 season, scoring 18 goals and 24 assists in 45 games. He then went on to play three season with the Ontario Hockey League’s Brampton Capitals.
The native of Greece, New York was selected 52nd overall by the Coyotes. Congratulations to Phil and good luck!
