On November 8th the Jr. Sabres were at home as the hosted the Milton Menace, with Aiden McKenna getting the start in net. The Jr. Sabres quickly took control with two quick goals. The first goal came from Brody Seitz assisted by Patrick Cole and Jaden Ward. Cameron Doran would get the second goal for the Jr. Sabres with assists from Haeden Ellis and Dylan Mcfadden. The Menace would come back to tie it up on two power play goals. The Jr. Sabres would take the lead back to finish out the first with a goal from Ellis assisted by Seitz and Carter Cwiklinski. The Menace would tie it back up again in the second period before the Jr. Sabres regained the lead on a power play goal by Michael Kull assisted by Gavin Klaassen and Josh Przystal. As the second period wrapped up the Menace would tie the game back at 4-4. With just under ten minutes remaining in the third period Doran would get his second goal of the game to give the Jr. Sabres the 5-4 lead. The Menace would come back with their fifth goal and to force overtime. The Menace would ultimately skate away with the 6-5 victory in overtime.
On November 12th the Jr. Sabres headed to North York Rangers where Leif Ekblad would get the start in net. The game would remain tied at 0-0 through the first period as Ekblad made five saves and the Jr. Sabres got nine shots against the Rangers goalie. The second period was all the Rangers as they put five goals past Ekblad, including three power play goals. Danny Phelan would get the Jr. Sabres first, and ultimately only, goal at the start of the third with assists from Kull and Tyler Isherwood. The Rangers would get another goal to seal the 6-1 victory as Ekblad made 22 saves and the Jr. Sabres got 43 shots against the Rangers goalie.
The Jr. Sabres are now fifth in the conference at 13-8-0-2. Next up the Jr. Sabres host the Leamington Flyers on November 15th at 7:45pm.
