The Buffalo Jr. Sabres organization congratulates forward Ty Glover, who has been named to Team Canada East ahead of the upcoming 2018 World Junior A Challenge with Hockey Canada.
Glover, a 2000-born forward, has registered 26 points, including 12 goals, in 30 games this season with the Jr. Sabres. He is committed to Western Michigan.
Glover joined his teammates in Toronto earlier this week and will fly out to Bonnyville, Alberta in the coming days. The 2018 World Junior A Challenge is being held from December 9-16.
Glover and Canada East will kick things off against Russia on December 9 with a 2 p.m. MST puck drop in preliminary action. They’ll face Canada West the following night at 7 p.m. MST before facing the United States on December 12 at 2 p.m. MST.
Their final preliminary game will see them face the Czech Republic at 7 p.m. MST on December 14.
