Jr. Sabres drop 4-3 decision to Otters

(Huntsville, ON) – The Buffalo Junior Sabres fell into a 3-0 hole, rallied late but fell short as the host Huntsville Otters defeated Buffalo, 4-3, on Friday night.

Ryan Tucci, Brendan Barletta and Daniel Clairmont put the hosts ahead before Tim Kielich got the Junior Sabres on the scoreboard.  Clairmont added his second goal of the game just seconds into the third period, the goal that proved to be the game winner.  Buffalo goals by Rocky Gruttadauria (on the power play) and Jake Ledyard brought the Jr. Sabres to within one goal of tying the contest, but the Otters held on for the 4-3 win.

Tyler Fallica made 20 saves in his second start of the season for Buffalo.  Huntsville goalie Leo Podolsky made 30 saves.

The Junior Sabres travel to Georgetown, Ontario for a Saturday night tilt with the Raiders.  The opening faceoff at the Mold-Master Rink is scheduled for 7:30pm.
