(Buffalo, NY) – The Buffalo Junior Sabres today announced the team is launching an online auction program, www.jrsabresraffles.org, to help raise money for the team while also giving fans a chance to win Sabres prizes.
Online auctions will be held throughout the hockey season and will feature several different prizes, including autographed Sabres memorabilia, game-worn jerseys, player meet-and-greets, locker room tours and other once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
The first of these online auctions begins today, March 15, with the winner receiving two tickets to the Sabres vs. Capitals game on March 30 at First Niagara Center. After the game, the winner and a guest will have the opportunity to meet Sabres captain Jason Pominville in the team’s locker room, where the winner will also receive Pominville’s game-worn jersey from that night’s game. Tickets are available for $5 at www.jrsabresraffles.org and fans have until March 29 to purchase chances to win.
All proceeds from the online auctions will go directly to supporting the Buffalo Junior Sabres team.
