JR. SABRES MAKE ROSTER MOVES

The Buffalo Jr. Sabres have made several recent roster moves ahead of the second half of the Ontario Junior Hockey League season.

First, the Jr. Sabres welcome forward Ryan Pitoscia to the team. Pitoscia, a 2000-born forward, joins us from Milbrook School. The 18-year-old Oakville, Ontario native played his first OJHL game with Buffalo this past Friday. He’ll wear #26 with the team.

Buffalo is also proud to welcome back forward Trevor Peca. A Western New York native, Peca previously played with the JR. Sabres organization in the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons. He split this season between the Chilliwack Chiefs and Trail Smoke Eaters of the BCHL and the New Jersey Jr. Titans of the NAHL. Peca will wear #27 with the Jr. Sabres this time around.

The Jr. Sabres have traded defenseman Nick Grupp to the Brantford 99ers. We thank Nick for his hard work and commitment to the organization over the past season and a half, and wish him luck in Brantford.

Buffalo has also released forward Henry Frontini. We thank Henry for his commitment to the organization this season and wish him luck in his future endeavors.
