(Buffalo, NY) – As the Buffalo Jr. Sabres prepare to take their game to downtown Buffalo for their regular season home finale against Oakville on Wednesday, February 20 at 7:00pm, the team is forwarding information that fans need to know in advance of their trip.
Is there a price for admission?
Yes, the same prices as a home game at the Northtown Center at Amherst: $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for youth & seniors. As at the Northtown Center, youths who wear their hockey jerseys get in free! There will also be the same 50-50 drawing as well. We anticipate the doors to open about 6:00pm.
Where can we park?
The Buffalo Sabres have opened the ramp adjacent to the First Niagara Center for complimentary parking on our game night. Click here for a map of the arena neighborhood and to generate your own custom directions.
Will there be concessions available?
Yes. According to Sabres officials there will be an open concession stand operated by SportService, the same operators of concessions at Sabres home games. It is our understanding adult beverages are included (please be responsible!).
If I cannot make the trip, can I still see it on streaming video?
Yes. The game will be broadcast in live streaming video on FASTHockey.com. The usual fees apply for use of that service.
Where can we get some dinner before the game?
Chef’s Restaurant is one of our proud sponsors, and just blocks away from the First Niagara Center. For that reason, we encourage you to support them, as they have supported us. Click here for a link to a map and custom directions.
Why come to this game?
The Junior Sabres can clinch first place in the OJHL West and the top seed in the OJHL South-West Conference with a victory at the FNC. We encourage Western New York hockey fans to come check out a Jr. Sabres game, and encourage families to bring their kids during this winter break for many school systems.
