Jr. Sabres to host Canada’s #9 Oakville

The Buffalo Junior Sabres, who last Saturday opened their 2011-2012 Ontario Junior Hockey League season with an exciting 4-3 overtime win over the Newmarket Hurricanes, will host the Oakville Blades in OJHL action Tuesday, September 13 at 7:30 in the Lexus Feature Rink at the Northtown Center at Amherst, 1615 Amherst Manor Drive (between Maple and Millersport).

In its preseason poll, the Canadian Junior Hockey League, the umbrella organization representing all of Canada’s junior-A leagues, ranked the Oakville Blades ninth best in all of Canada.  On Saturday, the Junior Sabres rallied from a two-goal deficit to defeat Canada’s 11th-ranked team.

Tickets will be available for purchase on site in the front lobby of the Northtown Center.  Prices are $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for students (with ID) and senior citizens.

If you can’t make the game, you can watch it line on the internet with OJHL Live, empowered by NeuLion.  Ric Seiling will call all the play-by-play action.
