The Buffalo Jr. Sabres and the Kingston Voyageurs skate to 2-2 (OT) tie

The Jr. Sabres stifled the Voyageurs’ power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Buffalo kept Kingston’s goalie busy throughout the game, and David Poirier made 34 saves on 36 shots.

More assists for Buffalo came via Evan BennettNicholas Bondra, and Brenden Dunning, who each chipped in one.

The Voyageurs’ offense rang up 39 shots on the Jr. Sabres’ net.

Kingston was helped by Colin Tonge, who finished with one goal. Tonge scored 4:14 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Connor Cobbold picked up the assist. Danny Bosio also scored for Kingston. In addition, Kingston received assists from Connor Bebb, who had one.

Tucker Weppner recorded 37 saves for Buffalo. The Jr. Sabres incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Voyageurs incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
