On February 14th the Jr. Sabres were at home as they faced off against the Toronto Patriots. The first period was quiet on both sides of the ice as the period ended with a 0-0 tie. The Patriots would strike first in the -second period for the 1-0 lead before extending it to 2-0 with a power play goal. Before the period was over the Jr. Sabres would answer with a goal from Tyler Isherwood assisted by Cole Smith and Josh Przystal to make it 2-1 heading into the third period. The Jr. Sabres would quickly tie the game up to start the third period with a goal from Patrick Cole assisted by Haeden Ellis and Smith. The Patriots would score to take the lead back and make it 3-2. The remainder of the game would be all Jr. Sabres. Brody Seitz, assisted by Zach Derito and Carter Cwiklinski, would tie the game back for the Jr. Sabres at 3-3. Isherwood get his second of the game, assisted by Michael Kull and Gavin Klaassen, to give the Jr. Sabres 4-3 lead. Przystal would extend the lead to 5-3 with assists from Jaden Ward and Seitz. Cole would get his 30th of the season and give the Jr. Sabres a 6-3 lead with an empty net goal assisted by Dylan Mcfadden and Jaden Ward. Przystal would get his second of the game to seal the 7-3 victory for the Jr. Sabres with assists from Klaassen and Nick Shaw.
The Jr. Sabres remained at home on February17th as they took on the Pickering Panthers. The Panthers would take advantage of an early power play to take the 1-0 lead. Before the period was over the Jr. Sabres would tie the game up with a goal from Cole assisted by Przystal and Seitz. With the game tied heading into the second period, the Jr. Sabres would get another goal from Cole to take the lead with assists from Klaassen and Mcfadden. The Panthers would then answer with two goals to take a 3-2. Isherwood would tie it back up for the Jr. Sabres with assists from Derito and Seitz. Cole would get a hat trick and take the lead back for the Jr. Sabres with assists from Danny Phelan and Mcfadden. The Panthers would get another power play goal to tie the game back at 4-4. Mcfadden would score to take back the lead for the Jr. Sabres with assists from Cole and Ward. The Jr. Sabres headed into the third period with the 5-4 lead. Przystal would get number six for the Jr. Sabres assisted by Seitz and Phelan. Leif Ekblad would make 20 saves in the Jr. Sabres 6-4 victory over the Panthers.
The Jr. Sabres remain solidly in fourth place in the West Conference with a 29-18-0-3 record.
