Glover announces college commitment to Western Michigan

Ty Glover of the Buffalo Jr. Sabres (photo credit – Ken Lamb/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the NCAA Division 1 Western Michigan University Broncos  beginning with the 2020-21 season.

The native of Salford, England joined the Jr. Sabres this season.

The 5-foot-11 centre played for the London Jr. Knights midget AAA team and the Jr. B Strathroy Rockets during the past two seasons.

Glover, who will turn 18 Oct. 1, had 42 points (18G, 24A) in 28 games with London last year.

He was selected in the 15th round (284th overall) of the 2016 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection by the Flint Firebirds from the Elgin Middlesex Chiefs AAA organization.
