Andrew Poturalski has been named the Buffalo Junior Sabres’ Player of the Month for September 2011, head coach Grant Ledyard announced. Poturalski’s six goals and eight assists that month put him atop the list of all Buffalo scorers.
“Andrew is a gifted young man,” said Ledyard. “He controls the pace of play when he’s out there. He darts at players. He creates a lot from his speed. From our standpoint we’re happy to have him, and he’s fit in well with the team concept. We’re going to continue to push him and make him more of a complete player.”
Poturalski continued to be a leading scorer heading into October, leading all teammates with eight goald and ten assists heading into this weekend’s game against Brampton.
