(Wellington, ON) – The Buffalo Junior Sabres participating this week in the 2012 Central Canada Cup All-Star Challenge (presented by Huff Estates in memory of Peter Huff) playes significant roles in the OJHL West All-Star Team’s first game, a 4-1 win over the OJHL North All-Stars on December 27.
Ryan Schmelzer scored the West’s third goal of the game and also assisted the first goal of the game, while Sean Federow and Tyler Gjurich recorded assists.
Goaltender Parker Gahagen stopped 32 shots on goal (the West was outshot by the North, 33 to 20) and earned Player of the Game for the West.

The OJHL West next faces QJAAAHL Burrows (from Quebec) on Friday afternoon beginning at 12:15pm in Wellington.
