The Buffalo Jr. Sabres of the Ontario Junior Hockey League have announced the team’s new leadership structure for the upcoming 2019-2020 season.
Larry Playfair will remain with the team as its OJHL Governor & Board Member.
Charlie Mendola, who acted as general manager last season, has been named Executive Director. Head coach Nick Tuzzolino will reprise his role for the upcoming season, and will also take on additional responsibilities as the team’s general manager.
Matt Ellis has been named the team’s Alternate OJHL Governor, while Sean Wallace takes over as the Director of Scouting.
Tim Kennedy will remain an assistant coach for the Jr. Sabres, but will also add a new title, as Director of Player Personnel.
