Jr. Sabres clip Milton, 5-1, Kielich to sit two

(Milton, ON) – Tim Kielich scored two goals and Parker Gahagen made 35 saves as the Buffalo Junior Sabres defeated their hosts, the Milton Icehawks, 5-1.  While Tim Kielich was the hero on the scoresheet, his involvement in a late game incident will cost him the next two games.

Kollin Schultz opened the scoring for Buffalo, while Jake Ledyard (power play) and Scott Sims added goals.  Buffalo outshot their hosts 53 to 36 in this one-sided affair.

Like their matchup in Amherst earlier in the week, the third period erupted into bad behavior.  Tim Kielich, sent off the ice for a checking from behind major in the third period, is suspended for the next two games.  He’ll miss Saturday night’s game at Burlington and Tuesday night’s home game against Oakville.
